The Auberge Spa in Fort Lauderdale is what I envision as heaven on earth. As cliche as that may sound- it is truly a haven of relaxation and happiness. Upon entering the spa, the aromatic fumes of lavender and rose mist wave over you and let you know that further beauty awaits.

With this being my third visit, I wanted to try a new massage which was the Soothe Massage- a soothing crescendo-style massage with layers of aromatherapy, cleansing back scrub, hot stones and cool pressure point crystal facial massage complete this symphony of elements. I paired this with the "Auberge Classic Facial", a classically cleansing and hydrating, our traditional facial goes a step further with cool antioxidant serum infusions. Steam towels, detoxifying mask and deep hydration to enrich and awaken healthy skin.

My services were amazing as expected even with the new covid processes and procedures- my only disappointment was not having the salt room & steam room open.
After two glasses of complimentary prosecco, a rub down and soothing facial- I was ready to eat. Somewhat famished if I am being honest, so I proceeded to Dunes- the phenomenal restaurant located at The Auberge Residences.
I was given what I feel is the best table in the house- with a view to die for.

Service was impeccable and the food was to die for. I ordered the Fruitti-De Mare from the Chilled menu along with the Charcoal Grilled Key West Shrimp to start.

The chilled seafood platter was impeccable, super fresh and light, including 12 oysters, 4 chilled shrimp, 1 crudo (in the video above-YUM), and 1 jumbo lump blue crab salad. The pairing of hot and cold with the key west charcoal shrimp was perfect since the hot shrimp dish had a perfectly toasted bread that was deliciously seasoned with garlic butter goodness.
Even though it looks like a ton of food- I was still hungry and just had to order the land part of the meal- steak. So I went for the 8oz Prime Skirt Steak with Chimichurri Sauce. The steak was cooked to the ideal temperature and was soft, juicy and succulent.

Look at those roasted garlic cloves and baked shallots- like food porn.
In the photo below, I just needed everyone to see this view again - and I purposely left the plate with that meat juice- because you need to see the succulence !

Moral of this blog is- if you have not been to the Auberge Spa & Residences here in Fort Lauderdale Beach, save up & book your spa day ASAP .... & if the spa isn't your thing- at least make the trip there to eat at Dunes- you will not regret it, impeccable food & service.
You may even run into me there! #DineoutChronicles
